W1 Watches offer pre-owned watches at a greatly reduced price. We are constantly monitoring our competitors watch prices to ensure that our clients receive the best value for the timepiece they want.
Peace of Mind
If you are not 100% satisfied with any of your purchases from W1 Watches for any reason, you are entitled to a full refund/exchange, providing that the goods are returned in exactly the same condition as they were originally. For further details please see our policy documents here
Part exchanges
We welcome part exchange of your watch against one of our watches (of if you just want to sell your watch) We offer top prices for pre-owned watches!
At present our website does not offer an online payment system as experience has shown us that off-line transactions are the safest way to accept payment. By dealing with customers directly via telephone, fax or in person, no sensitive personal details are held on computer systems thus avoiding any risk of fraud. We also prefer to speak to our customers so that we are able to offer the most personal and pleasant buying experience possible.
Ways to pay
- Credit card at our boutique - 2% surcharge. The delivery must be sent to the billing address of the card,
- Cash at our boutique. In accordance with money laundering regulations.
- Bank transfer. We accept only CHAPS transfers. Please contact us for our bank account details.
- Bankers Draft. All drafts will be authenticated by our bank before the product is released.
- Cheque. Funds must clear before the product is released.
Fraud
To help fight fraud W1 Watches is pro-active in recognising fraudulent transactions. Our checks are essential and are completed for each and every transaction to protect the security of both our customers and our business.
For every transaction made without the buyer present we will contact you by phone or e-mail to request additional proofs of identity and recent address before we despatch your order. Where possible we will endeavour to conduct our security checks inside our delivery service level agreement.

Delivery
At W1 Watches we wish for your special purchases to arrive in perfect condition, therefore all deliveries will be made using the Royal Mail Special Delivery service.
- All deliveries are insured and the progress of each delivery may be traced via a bar code tracking number which will be emailed to you.
- Royal Mail Special Delivery guarantee delivery the next working day before 1pm (We also offer a service which guarantees delivery before 9am the next day at a small extra charge).
- If for any reason you miss your delivery a card will be left with the consignment number and branch telephone number, so that a collection from your nearest sorting office or re-delivery can be arranged.
Delivery Charges
- We charge a standard fee of only £12.00 for all items delivered within the UK. This is a fully insured next working day delivery.
- Quotations will be provided for customers wishing to have items delivered outside of the UK and will be dependent on the weight and destination of the package.
- For any return postage the customer is liable for all costs unless this is agreed prior with W1 Watches.
Supplier Orders
If your item has to be ordered direct from suppliers and we are unable to despatch your order within our 'normal' next day delivery, we will contact you to discuss and advise.
Collection
We do prefer collection from our boutique store in central London, as it provides us with a chance to meet our customers and ensures a safer and secure transaction. Mostly no appointment is necessary but as our stock changes daily please do call ahead to express your interest in any of our products, to ensure that they are available.
All watches bought from W1 Watches are supplied with a 12 month Warranty for your peace of mind. In some cases the original manufactures warranty may still be valid. If this warranty has elapsed completely then our watches will be subject to a 12 month warranty.
Our 12 month warranty is also extended to any parts that are replaced for any watches that undergo repairs at our Authorised Rolex workshop.
The Warranty does not cover:
- Misuse or tampering or abuse (hitting, knocking).
- The consequence of normal wear and tear on any leather or rubber strap.
- The watch strap, bracelet, stems, crowns, bezel, mineral glass or sapphire crystal.
- Any damage caused by water, if your watch is not water-resistant.
- Alterations, modifications and taking apart of the watch by a third party without our express permission. Doing so will invalidate the warranty.
- Theft or loss of watch.
How to process your claim if something goes wrong:
In the event of a problem with your watch, there are several options available to you:
- If the watch is still covered by the original manufactures warranty, you may contact them to resolve the problem. However please do contact us initially as in some cases we are able to carry out the repair in a shorter timeframe than the manufacturers.
- If the watch is still covered by our W1 Watches 12 month Warranty and if the problem is covered by the terms of our warranty we will undertake any repairs free of charge.
- If both the W1 Watches warranty and manufactures warranty has expired, please send the watch back to us and we will provide you with a quote and an estimate of the period of time needed for the repairs to be completed.
In all the points above, please ensure that along with the watch you provide us a written explanation of the problem along with your contact details.
Please note the following:
Please make sure that your watch is fully insured, at your expense, during transit as W1 Watches does not accept any liability for loss of damage for incoming goods. Alternatively visit us at our shop to drop off your timepiece personally, it will be in safe hands! All warranty returns must be dealt with by W1 Watches.
