Are you authorised dealers of the watches you sell?

No, we are not authorised dealers or distributors of any of the brands of watches we sell. However, this allows us to sell pre-owned watches at a cost greatly reduced. Back to top

Are your watches new?

Most of our watches are pre-owned, they are refurbished and serviced so they are in immaculate condition. Back to top

Are your watches genuine?

Absolutely. Each of our watches are carefully inspected by our certified watchmakers and are guaranteed to be 100% authentic. Back to top

Do you get a warranty with the watch?

Yes, all of our watches come with a 12 months W1 Watches Warranty. We recommend that you read the terms and conditions of our Warranty, so that you are familiar with what it does and does not cover. Please click here. Back to top

I don’t see the watch I want on your website, can you get it for me?

Probably. If you cannot see the watch you are looking for on our website and it is one of the brands we specialise in, then please call us on 020 7734 4799 or use our Watch Finder service to tell us about which watch you require. We will do our best to get that watch for you. Back to top

Are your prices negotiable?

We operate on very small margins and our products are already excellent value at some of the best prices in the market. If however you find an item of the same quality available at another store for less, we will do endeavour to match or beat the price. Back to top

Do you accept part-exchanges?

Why don’t you accept online payments?

At present our website does not offer an online payment system as experience has shown us that off-line transactions are the safest way to accept payment. By dealing with customers directly via telephone, fax or in person, no sensitive personal details are held on computer systems thus avoiding any risk of fraud. We also prefer to speak to our customers so that we are able to offer the most personal and pleasant buying experience possible. Back to top

What is your return policy?

As long as the watch is returned within a 7 day period and in exactly the same condition as you received it, you can have an exchange or a full refund. Please see the ‘Returns’ page for the full policy and any terms and conditions. Your statutory rights are not affected. Back to top

What happens if my watch develops a fault?

If your watch is covered under the manufactures warranty then we recommend you take it to them to inspect. If the watch does develop a fault which is covered by W1 Watches Warranty, then you can either bring it to our boutique store or ship it to us. Please see the ‘Warranty’ page for more information. What special care should I give to my watch?

What are the service intervals?

A watch, with everyday usage can be subjected to vibrations, dust, water and other strains and depending on the use of the watch, we recommend as a general rule, owners should have a maintenance service carried out approximately every 2 years and a complete service every 5 years. Back to top

Do you service and repair watches?

How long is the lifetime of my watch battery?

Watch batteries last anywhere from two to five years, usually, depending on the kind of watch, its size and the number of extra functions it has. Back to top
