Omega Serial Numbers

Where can I locate the Omega Serial Numbers?

On current and recent Omega watches, the serial numbers are 8 digits long and can be found at the back of the watch case or on the back of the lug, closest to the 7 o'clock position.   Older Omega watches may have the serial number inside the watch, on the movement or the inside of the back of the case.  Opening the watch should only be done by an experienced wach maker. .

Model Codes

Omega does not stamp model numbers on their watches.  Omega model numbers are subject to change and can be different in different coutries. They are not a permanent identifier of a watch.  However any serial number can be searched to see what model number the watch is.

Please note that this table is an approximate guide to determining the age of Omega. The only reliable way of being able to ascertian exactly when an Omega was issued is by contacting Omega directly.
